WWE issued a recent survey to their Fan Council asking for feedback regarding their interest in several independent wrestling promotions, as well as the promotions that they would watch.

The list includes promotions such as Pro Wrestling Guerilla (PWG), CHIKARA Pro Wrestling, Dragon Gate USA, Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), All American Wrestling (AAW), Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), EVOLVE Wrestling, SHIMMER Women’s Athletes, Squared Circle Wrestling (2CW), Ring Of Honor (ROH), Full Impact Pro (FIP) and other, with another option given of, I do not follow any independent wrestling.

This once again continues the company’s sudden interest in the viewing habits of their fanbase regarding the independent wrestling scene, as it may relate to the company possibly pursuing relationships with those companies to provide access to their shows on the WWE Network as other surveys have floated around with different pricing plans for a tier of the WWE Network that would include potential non-WWE programming, which means that the WWE are somewhat interested in at least exploring the idea of bringing an independent wrestling distribution into the WWE Network platform.
