WWE issued the following statement regarding the incident at tonight’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony where a fan came on stage and attacked Bret “The Hitman” Hart.

“An over-exuberant fan surpassed our security at ringside and made his way briefly into the ring. The individual has been turned over to the proper authorities.”
