Mike “The Miz” Mizanin was always an energetic personality. While in high school, The Miz was president of his student government, senior editor of the yearbook, and a star athlete in baseball, football and basketball. While attending Miami University of Ohio, he applied to MTV’s “Real World” and after completing its 30-page application was extended an offer to join the cast and put his personality on display for the world.

The Miz was first introduced to TV audiences as one of the seven housemates on “The Real World: Back to New York,” the tenth season of MTV’s popular and groundbreaking reality show. Since that initial appearance on “The Real World,” reality TV fans clamored for more of The Miz. The Miz made his rounds on the reality TV circuit, including four seasons of the “Real World/Road Rules Challenge,” Bravo’s “Battle of the Network Reality Stars,” and as a competitor on a special edition of “Fear Factor.” The Miz’s outgoing personality and charm made him a fan favorite.

The Miz competed on the fourth season of ‘Tough Enough’ in hopes of winning a contract to become a WWE Superstar. After finishing as the runner up, The Miz didn’t give up on his dream and continued to train once the ‘Tough Enough’ competition ended. He began his WWE career on Friday Night SmackDown. The Miz gained a huge following along with his former tag team partner John Morrison as the co-hosts of the WWE.com original program, “The Dirt Sheet.” The “Dirt Sheet” duo dominated WWE’s tag team division as well as WWE.com’s Original Series with their irreverent antics and shenanigans until they were split apart with the 2009 WWE Draft.

In 2010, The Miz won the Raw Money in the Bank match, which guaranteed him a shot at the WWE Championship. On the Nov. 22, 2010 edition of Monday Night Raw, The Miz successfully cashed in his WWE Title opportunity on Randy Orton to capture the most prestigious prize in sports-entertainment.

With that WWE Title victory, The Miz joined the ranks of history’s most elite ring warriors, but he’s hardly rested on his laurels since that fateful night. Why? Because he’s The Miz, and he’s … awesome!

The “Most Must See WWE Champion” is breaking into television and films. The Miz has appeared on the hit USA network comedy PSYCH, in the WWE Studios and Twentieth Century Fox film The Marine: Homefront and in the Will Ferrell comedy The Campaign. He is also a must see talk show guest and has appeared on Conan, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Tonight Show, Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards, Extra, Food Network’s Dinner: Impossible, Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader, The Soup, Attack of the Show, World Magic Awards, Teen Choice Awards and The Daily Buzz. The Miz is living life to the fullest and doing things that he couldn’t imagine growing up in the small town of Parma, Ohio including taking the WWE Championship to the front row at Knicks games, tossing out the first pitch at a LA Dodger game and even hosting TMZ in place of Harvey Levin.

You can catch The Miz every week on USA Network’s Monday Night Raw at 8/7c.
