WWE Names Swee Sin Wu General Manager For Asia-Pacific

LONDON, July 19, 2012 – WWE (NYSE: WWE) today announced the appointment of Swee Sin Wu as General Manager for the Asia-Pacific region. Wu will be based in Singapore and will report to Ed Wells, WWE Managing Director and Senior Vice President of International.

Wu will be responsible for managing all of WWE’s business units across the Asia-Pacific region. Before joining WWE, Wu worked at WPP’s Global Sportnet (GSN) as its Managing Director, Asia. He was responsible for the media content rights business and represented the commercial interests of Arsenal FC, Clipper World Yacht Race and FC Barcelona in the region.

Prior to a career in sports marketing, Wu held various marketing roles for The Walt Disney Company and was based in Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Taipei respectively. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Certified Professional Marketer of the Asia Pacific Marketing Federation.
