In a big update on the 25th Anniversary edition of Monday Night RAW, which will take place on January 22nd, 2018 and be the go-home show to the 2018 Royal Rumble pay-per-view, the show will emanate from two locations for the first time in its history, as the show will be going back and forth throughout the broadcast from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York and the Manhattan Center in New York City, the original home of Monday Night RAW, according to a report from The New York Post.

As mentioned above, the report notes that WWE will be presenting live matches at both venues and will be going back and forth throughout the broadcast, with talents from WWE RAW and WWE SmackDown Live appearing, as well as special appearances from Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash and The Undertaker, which would be The Undertaker’s first official appearance since his loss to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33.

The news that WWE will be running in the Grand Ballroom of the Manhattan Center itself will be the first time that the company has used that venue in almost 21 years, as the last time WWE ran the venue was February 1997. The Grand Ballroom itself has also hosted Ring of Honor and IMPACT Wrestling events, while the Hammerstein Ballroom, which is downstairs in the same facility, has hosted Ring Of Honor and ECW events among others.
