The following are the results of the July 1st edition of WWE RAW, live from the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, IA. Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler & JBL are the commentary team for the night.
Opening Segment
Vickie Guerrero welcomes us to RAW, and confirms that she has made a Champion vs Champion match between John Cena and Alberto Del Rio for later tonight. In honor of this match, throughout the night, we are shown clips of some of the greatest WWE & World Champions of all time. Champions like Bruno Sammartino, Harley Race, Lou Thesz, Buddy Rogers, Hulk Hogan & Ric Flair are shown.
In Ring Segment
Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring, and there is a ladder in the ring with the Money In The Bank briefcase hanging above it. Bryan claims that he proved he isn’t the weak link after his victory over Randy Orton last week. Bryan wants to be WWE Champion, and mentions names like Bruno Sammartino, Hulk Hogan & Steve Austin.
Sheamus comes to the ring, and reminds Bryan that he beat him in 18 seconds at WrestleMania 28. Randy Orton interrupts and says its been over 2 years since he was WWE Champion, but Bryan reminds Orton that he made him tap out last week. Kane comes out, followed by Christian claiming to be the “best,” which of course prompts the “best in the world” CM Punk to come out. Punk explains how he has won MITB twice, and he will win it a third time in 2 weeks time. Bryan tells Punk to shut up before he makes him tap out faster than Orton did last week. Orton tries to attack Bryan, but Kane steps in front of Bryan to protect him, which angers Bryan. Bryan and Kane begin to argue, than Orton grabs Kane and hits an RKO on him. Everyone is now on guard, and slowly exit the ring.

A Wyatt Family hype video is shown, and the announce team hint they will be here soon.
6-Man Tag Team Match
The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns) defeated Christian & The Usos by pin fall.
After the match, Kane and Bryan are shown in the back. Bryan tells Kane that he talked to Vickie and got him a rematch against Randy Orton tonight. Then he tells him that he will be the special referee for the match.
Singles Match
Dolph Ziggler defeated Jinder Mahal (w/Heath Slater & Drew McIntyre) by pin fall. After the match, the other members of 3MB try to attack Ziggler, but he avoids it, and 3MB end up colliding with each other.
Backstage Segment
Vickie and Brad Maddox are shown complaining about the McMahon Family when Triple H walks in. Triple H tells Vickie that when dealing with the McMahons’, you listen to what everyone has to say, but in the end you do what I tell you. The power struggle continues.
Video Segment
A career retrospect of the “World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry is shown.
Singles Match
Daniel Bryan Is The Special Referee
Kane defeated Randy Orton by pin fall. Daniel Bryan made a fast count to help Kane win, which angered Kane. Kane grabs Bryan by the neck, but lets go and leaves. Orton hits an RKO on Bryan and leaves.
Backstage Segment
Paul Heyman, Curtis Axel & CM Punk are in the locker room. Punk tells Heyman that he trusts him, but he doesn’t trust Curtis Axel. Heyman tells Punk to “trust him,” and that tag team match will be later tonight.
Singles Match
Sheamus defeated Fandango (w/Summer Rae) by count out.
Singles Match
The Miz defeated Ryback by Referee’s Decision. Ryback told the ref to stop the match due to his knee injury. After the match, Chris Jericho (who was on commentary) hit Ryback with a Code Breaker.
In Ring Segment
Mark Henry comes out to the top of the ramp and tells us how he deserves to be the WWE Champion. At the pay-per-view no one will be able to keep him down, no one will be able to deny Mark Henry. “John Cena, at Money In The Bank, I’m gonna beat your a**!”
Backstage Segment
Vince McMahon interrupts Vickie and Brad Maddox in the back. He’s angry at them for giving away a great Champion vs Champion match tonight, when there is money to make by putting it on PPV. “They, like other members of my family, don’t understand business.”
Tag Team Match
CM Punk & Curtis Axel (w/Paul Heyman) defeated The Prime Time Players by pin fall.
Divas Match
Kaitlyn (w/Layla) defeated Alicia Fox by pin fall. After the match, AJ (with Big E. Langston) come out to insult Kaitlyn.
Backstage Segment
Stephanie McMahon is lecturing Vickie on how she is handling the Divas situation. She informs Vickie that next week she will have a job performance evaluation out in the middle of the ring. She may get a promtion, or she may get fired!
A new RVD return promo is shown for Money In The Bank.
Singles Match
Antonio Cesaro (w/Zeb Colter & Jack Swagger) defeated Cody Rhodes (w/Damien Sandow) by pin fall.
Backstage Segment
The Bella twins are in the back arguing with all of the other Divas… more of a promo for the Divas reality show on E! later this month.
Singles Match
John Cena defeated Alberto Del Rio by pin fall. Both Mark Henry and Dolph Ziggler came to ringside during the ending of this match, with Ziggler causing the distraction to allow Cena to pin Del Rio. After the match, Henry grabs the WWE title and climbs into the ring and teases an attack. Henry ends up tossing the title towards Cena and leaving the ring.
