The following are the results of the September 9th, 2013, edition of WWE RAW, which took place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is the final RAW show before the pay-per-view Night of Champions this Sunday.

In Ring Segment–The Cutting Edge
WWE Hall of Famer Edge returns to RAW to a thunderous ovation and opens up the show with his talk show The Cutting Edge.  He says that Triple H invited him to RAW, and wanted him to have a reunion of sorts.  However, instead of an Edge and Christian reunion, Triple H wanted a Rated RKO reunion with Randy Orton.  Edge says that Orton is way too boring, and he will not interview him.  The crowd begins to chant Yes, and Edge brings out Daniel Bryan instead, with a huge pop from the Toronto crowd. Edge asks Bryan if he could beat Randy Orton, and if he could be the face of the WWE? “Yes! Yes!”

Randy Orton comes out and interrupts the segment, and he and Edge have an exchange.  Edge goes on to say that Triple H sucked at picking out talent, which brings Triple H out to join Randy Orton at the top of the ramp.  Edge tells Triple H that he never thought that Chris Jericho or John Cena would make it, and they did.  He also never thought that Edge would amount to anything, and he did. The two continue with their heated exchanges, with Triple H telling Edge that he was a failure, and “never drew a dime” as the Rated R Superstar.  Edge fired back and shows him his HOF ring, and says he didn’t have to marry into his success.  Triple H tells Edge that he knows he can’t hurt him because he isn’t medically cleared for action, but he can hurt the people he loves.  The Shield come out carrying a beat up Christian to the ramp.  Edge goes to check on his friend, while The Shield, Randy Orton and Triple H exit to the back.

Backstage Segment
Triple H is in the back with Stephanie, when Edge rushes in, only to be met by The Shield. Edge tells Triple H he wishes the doctors would clear him to compete. Triple H says he’ll never be cleared, and becomes irate, asking him who he thinks he is? He tells Edge to leave the arena, or he can have The Shield escort him out. Edge looks at Triple H and shakes his head as he leaves.

Bray Wyatt (w/Eric Rowan & Luke Harper) defeated Dolph Ziggler by pin fall.

In Ring Segment
Paul Heyman with Curtis Axel and a personal doctor are in the ring. Heyman on crutches says that he may have a torn ACL or MCL, and has to withdraw from his match this Sunday. RAW GM Brad Maddox comes out with a WWE doctor, and tells Heyman he has to be evaluated by a WWE doctor. The doc evaluates his knee in the ring and tells Maddox that Heyman seems to be fine. Heyman gets irate, and CM Punk’s music hits! Punk runs to the ring with a cane, and Heyman bolts out of there, and hops the rail to exit through the crowd. Punk beats down Curtis Axel and Heyman’s “doctor” with the cane.

6-Diva Tag Team Match
Natalya, Brie Bella & Naomi (w/Cameron, Nikki Bella, Eva Marie & Jo Jo) defeated Leyla, Alicia Fox & Aksana by submission. Divas Champ AJ Lee was on commentary during the match, and was on fire again. She speaks the truth on the mic, and is very passionate.

Backstage Segment

Singles Match
Randy Orton defeated Goldust by pin fall.  After the match, Orton cuts a promo and says that his dream of saving Cody’s job has been “shattered.”

After the break, Goldust is walking in the back when Stephanie interrupts.  She calls him a loser, and tells him to join the unemployment line with his brother Cody.  Then she tells him to say hi to their father.  Interesting to see what this all leads to for Dusty Rhodes, Goldust and Cody Rhodes… Survivor Series maybe?

Singles Match
Rob Van Dam (w/Riccardo Rodriguez) defeated Ryback by disqualification.

After the match, The Big Show is making his way to the ring to be in Daniel Bryan’s corner when Stephanie stops him. She tells him that The Shield will be in Dean Ambrose’s corner tonight, but Big Show can not “lay a finger” on them or he will be terminated. The Big Show again is put into a tough position.

Singles Match
Daniel Bryan (w/The Big Show) defeated Dean Ambrose (w/Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns) by pin fall.  After the match, Randy Orton came out to attack Bryan with the help of The Shield.  The Big Show wanted to save Bryan, but couldn’t or else he would lose his job.  Orton rolls Bryan back into the ring, and hits an RKO on Bryan.  Triple H and Stephanie come out to the top of the ramp, and order Big Show to KO Daniel Bryan. Big Show walks into the ring, but refuses to punch a laid out Bryan.  Orton gets in Big Show’s face and yells at him to ball up his fist and KO Bryan, but when Orton turns around, Bryan hits a running knee to the face.  Bryan is now celebrating in the middle of the ring with the WWE title, and the crowd chanting Yes!
