The following results are from a recent WWE SmackDown TV Taping. WWE SmackDown’s 15th Anniversary special taping took place on October 7th, 2014 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and will air on October 10th, 2014 at 8pm Eastern on the SyFy Network.

In Ring Segment
Stephanie McMahon came out to open the show and welcomed the crowd to WWE SmackDown’s 15th Anniversary show, however John Laurinaitis came out and interrupted and put himself over for being responsible for the greatest ever era in WWE SmackDown history. Teddy Long’s music hit and he came to the ring and said that he could put on the greatest tag team match in WWE SmackDown history and proposed a match pitting 7 WWE Superstars & a Mini-Gator vs. 7 WWE Superstars & El Torito in a Team Johnny vs. Team Teddy match to determine who was the greatest General Manager in WWE SmackDown history. Stephanie McMahon got back on the mic and announced that The Miz will moderate a face-off between John Cena and Dean Ambrose later in the evening. Just as Stephanie was about to leave, Adam Rose’s music hit and he came to the ring and wished SmackDown a happy 15th Anniversary and told Stephanie not to be a lemon. Stephanie said that it’s time to shut down the Exotic Express and issued for Kane to come to the ring.

Singles Match
Kane defeated Adam Rose. Post-match, Kane attempted to attack The Bunny, however The Bunny managed to escape. Kane then attacked all of the Rosebuds.

Singles Match
AJ Lee defeated Alicia Fox (w/Paige). Post-match, Paige & Alicia attempted to attack AJ, however she fought them off.

Singles Match
Seth Rollins (w/Jamie Noble & Joey Mercury) defeated Kofi Kingston.

Singles Match
Rusev (w/Lana) defeated Dolph Ziggler. Post-match, Lana got on the mic and said that The Rock and The Big Show will pay for their actions, while Rusev challenged The Big Show to a match on WWE RAW. A video then appeared on-screen, which was taped at RAW, showing The Rock talking with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

16 Man Tag Team Match
Team Teddy (Sheamus, Jack Swagger, Mark Henry, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Fernando, Diego & El Torito) defeated Team Johnny (The Miz, Damien Sandow, Bo Dallas, Goldust, Stardust, Heath Slater, Titus O’Neil & Hornswoggle).

Singles Match
Seth Rollins (w/Jamie Noble & Joey Mercury) defeated Kofi Kingston in a re-tape of the earlier match.

In Ring Segment
The Miz came to the ring for the face-off between Dean Ambrose and John Cena and announced that he has been informed that the match will be a No Holds Barred, Contract On A Pole match. Cena and Ambrose made their way to the ring. Ambrose asserted that Seth Rollins is his at Hell in a Cell, while Cena said that he recognizes that Ambrose is a guy who doesn’t take crap from anyone and then took out two baseballs and said that “they” are what you need to make it in the WWE and then implied that The Miz doesn’t have them. The Miz asked Ambrose if he really thinks that he can beat John Cena after all that Cena has accomplished, to which Ambrose said that yes, he does. The Miz then asked the same of Cena, who stated that Damien Sandow is a better Miz than The Miz actually is. Cena and Ambrose attacked The Miz, however once the ring was cleared, Cena hit an Attitude Adjustment on Ambrose to end the show.
