The WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view scheduled for Saturday, August 21st at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada is not expected to be a lengthy show, at least in terms of the main card of the event, as the WWE were asked to leave enough time for fans to be able to attend the Manny Pacquaio vs. Errol Spence Jr boxing fight that same night, according to news first reported by Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com.
The report notes that while the main event of Pacquaio vs. Spence Jr is not expected to start until sometime around midnight Eastern time, WWE SummerSlam is currently listed to start at 8pm Eastern time, a change from WWE traditionally holding the show at 7pm Eastern time, meaning that WWE would have approximately 3 hours or so for the main card, with additional matches expected as part of the SummerSlam Kickoff Show.
