Former WWE Tough Enough winner Andy Leavine is scheduled to workout in front of NFL scouts at Florida International University’s NFL Pro Day on Thursday at 3:30 pm Eastern at FIU Stadium, a venue which will be all so familiar to Leavine, as he attended FIU on a scholarship, starting all 12 FIU game in his freshman year as an offensive linesman.

Leavine was originally signed by the Miami Dolphins as one of several undrafted players in April 2010, however he soon left the team after his signing claiming he was misled by the Dolphins and took up a wrestling career, which saw him land a WWE developmental deal under the name of Kevin Hackman and a role on WWE Tough Enough which as noted above, he ended up winning.

Speaking to FIU Sports Leavine had the following to say about a potential NFL return, “I’ve never stopped training since my football playing days, I’m a competitor and if I have to switch to the defensive line or start out playing in Canada or the arena league then that’s what I’ll do.”
