In an update on CM Punk’s current status with the WWE, the former WWE Champion was tied to a lot of future projects before the situation arose with the company, however he has since been written out of the WWE Studios’ upcoming Flinstones movie, with Rey Mysterio replacing him in the film.

Punk has also been removed from promotional material for recap video packages and other media, however he will remain part of the WWE’s Slam City stop-animation cartoon as that was finalized several months ago.

Internally, there are people who believe will return at some point this year, while others are of the belief that he is done with professional wrestling.
