Former WWE and TNA Wrestling superstar Bobby Lashley’s next MMA fight has been announced for May 6th as Lashley, who is currently 7-1 in his MMA career will face off against James Thompson, who is 17-14 in his career for the Super Fight League at the IGI Stadium in New Delhi, India. The event will be streamed live on YouTube.

In keeping with the MMA factor and with Brock Lesnar’s recent return to the WWE, as well as former UFC fighter Sean McCorkle being advertised to wrestle at an upcoming independent wrestling event, former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Tito Ortiz responded to a fan’s question on Twitter asking him would he consider going to the WWE after he decides to retire, to which Tito responded with, “You never know. Maybe to see who the real peoples champ is?”. Tito also done some media interviews while hyping this weekend’s UFC on Fuel TV: Gustafsson vs. Silva event and seemed to indicate that is where he’s heading next.

Ortiz does have a past in the professional wrestling world, having made some brief appearances for TNA Wrestling in 2005.
