The Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) promotion have announced the two teams for the 2023 CMLL Grand Prix on August 18th at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico, a 16-man “Torneo Cibernetico” elimination match that pits the two teams against each other, with the last man standing declared the winner.
Team World will feature Hiromu Takahashi, Baliyan Akki, Adrian Quest, Rocky Romero, Samuray del Sol, Francesco Akira, TJP and KUSHIDA, while Team Mexico will feature Angel de Oro, Ultimo Guerrero, Mascara Dorada 2.0, El Templario, El Averno, Dragon Rojo Jr., Volador Jr. and Mistico.
