There are plans in place for several All Elite Wrestling talents to wrestle as part of New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom 17 event, according to a report from Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer.

While NJPW have yet to announce plans for Wrestle Kingdom 17, the event is usually held on January 4th of every year, however in 2020 and 2021, this saw the events take place on January 4th and January 5th. Earlier this year, the events took place on the dates previously mentioned, while on January 8th, New Japan Pro Wrestling presented a third night of Wrestle Kingdom, which saw the event feature NJPW vs. Pro Wrestling NOAH talent.

All Elite Wrestling stars have been appearing for NJPW in recent months, with Wheeler YUTA competing in the NJPW Best of the Super Juniors Tournament, while Lance Archer was a competitor in the NJPW G1 CLIMAX Tournament.
