WWE announced at the end of last night’s WWE Payback pay-per-view that WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns will defend his title against AJ Styles in an Extreme Rules match at the May 22nd WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view. As of writing, the World Heavyweight Championship match is the only match confirmed for the event.

Early 2015 WWE Extreme Rules Buyrate

WWE have released their monthly business figures, which includes the preliminary pay-per-view buyrates for the 2015 WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view back in April. The company is reporting a preliminary buyrate of 56,000 buys, down from 108,000 back in 2014, with the buyrate broken down as 36,000 internationally and 20,000 domestically.
