WWE sent out the following: In an exclusive interview, Bad News Barrett reveals why Daniel Bryan isn’t deserving of holding the Intercontinental Championship, and hints at what awaits WWE’s “Yes!” Man in their clash for the title at Extreme Rules.

WWE have announced that WWE Intercontinental Champion Daniel Bryan will defend his title at the 2015 WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view against Bad News Barrett. Also announced for the pay-per-view is WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins defending against Randy Orton.

WWE have released the full schedule of pay-per-view events for the year, with one pay-per-view scheduled for each month this year, due to WrestleMania 31 taking place in March. WWE have announced that the 2015 WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view will take place on April 25th, 2015 at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. There is a pre-sale ongoing via Ticketmaster using the code EXTREME.

In their second quarter results released this morning, WWE announced that the WrestleMania 30 pay-per-view did 690,000 traditional buys, compared to 1,039,000 in 2013. Meanwhile, the company announced that the 2014 Extreme Rules pay-per-view did 108,000 buys, compared to 231,000 the year prior, the 2014 WWE Payback pay-per-view did 67,000 buys, compared to 186,000 buys  Continue Reading »
