The August 22nd NXT Heatwave special episode of WWE NXT on the USA Network drew 720,000 viewers and a .19 rating in the 18-49 demographic, according to a report from Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics. The viewership is up from last week’s episode which drew 680,000 viewers, with the demographic rating equal to last week’s show.

WWE have announced that the August 22nd episode of WWE NXT on the USA Network will be a special titled “NXT Heatwave”. Announced for the show is Nathan Frazer vs. Noam Dar for the WWE NXT Heritage Cup as well as Trick Williams vs. Ilja Dragunov.

The August 16th episode of WWE NXT, which was billed as a “NXT Heatwave” special drew 723,000 viewers and a .18 rating in the 18-49 demographic, according to a report from ShowBuzz Daily. The viewership is up from last week’s show which drew 597,000 viewers and a .13 rating in the demographic.
