Following the arrest of Jeff Hardy at his home back in September 2009 and the end of the court case earlier this year, as well as Jeff’s strange behaviour at the TNA Victory Road pay-per-view event, where he lost the TNA World Heavyweight Championship to Sting in just over 3 minutes, TNA Wrestling superstar, Jeff Hardy noted that this weekend’s TNA Turning Point is a personal turning point in his career, in a recent interview with The Miami Herald.

Regarding the ending of his court case and if he was afraid to return to professional wrestling, Jeff noted that he’s served his 10 days in jail and that he’s on intensive probation, however it’s great that he’s allowed to work for TNA Wrestling, despite being on curfew, with Jeff noting that he has to be home at six o’clock and that he can’t have company at his home after that time, with Jeff currently two months into that six month period. Jeff also stated that he then will have 30 months of regular probation and that he’s moved on, noting that he was living a rough, dark time in his life and that it was a lot of stress, but he’s glad he’s over those issues. Jeff noted that wrestling will always be part of his life and going back there was some doubt about him returning to wrestling following his arrest and he had initial fears about doing so. Jeff noted that everything was intense and that he needs to move on with things and a new life.

In an update on his brother Matt Hardy, Jeff noted that he is good and in great spirits, despite the fact that he doesn’t talk to him as much as they used to, however every time he does get to see him, he seems to be doing really well, so he believes that Matt is finally back to his positive self. Jeff noted that he doesn’t know what’s next for Matt Hardy, but he knows that Matt has always wanted to open a professional wrestling school, so he will probably focus on that more than anything else, stating that Matt has been beat up, but anything is possible in the business. Jeff noted that his brother has such a great mind for the business that he would make a great road agent, as Matt has always wanted to be a part of wrestling, noting that his brother loves the business much more than he does and that he will be involved in the wrestling business down the line, one way or another.
