Former TNA and Ring of Honor World Champion Austin Aries is backstage at tonight’s WWE NXT tapings at the CFE Arena on the campus of University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida and is expected to debut for the company during tonight’s tapings. Aries was in Pittsburgh last week and reportedly underwent WWE medical testing.

Former Ring of Honor and TNA World Champion Austin Aries was seen this week in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with the belief being that he was there to undergo WWE’s medical screening process, according to a report from PWInsider.com. Austin Aries’ current deal with TNA Wrestling is scheduled to expire the day after the TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view, according to a report from PWInsider.com. As of writing, neither side have publicly confirmed that Aries has been signed to a new deal with the promotion.
