Willow Nightingale was crowned the first-ever NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion at the NJPW Resurgence pay-per-view, defeating Mercedes Moné in the finals of the one-night tournament. Nightingale defeated Momo Kohgo in her Semi Final match, while Moné defeated Stephanie Vaquer in her Semi Final match.
